Dr. Huiyu Zhou received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Radio Technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology of China, and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Dundee of United Kingdom, respectively. He was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Vision from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Dr. Zhou currently is a full Professor at School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He has published over 380 peer-reviewed papers in the field. He was the recipient of "CVIU 2012 Most Cited Paper Award", “MIUA 2020 Best Paper Award”, “ICPRAM 2016 Best Paper Award” and was nominated for “ICPRAM 2017 Best Student Paper Award” and "MBEC 2006 Nightingale Prize". His research work has been or is being supported by UK EPSRC, MRC, EU, Royal Society, Leverhulme Trust, Puffin Trust, Alzheimer’s Research UK, Invest NI and industry.
Azlan Mohd Zain (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in computer science from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), in 2010. He is currently a Professor with the Faculty of Computing, UTM. As an academic staff, he has successfully supervised more than 25 postgraduate students and received more than 20 research grant funding to support research students. He has published more than 100 research papers. He has been invited as keynote speaker at over ten international conferences, serves on numerous committees, and has served on editorial board for several international journals.
Dr. S. Kannimuthu is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. He also serves as the Head of Technical Training. He is an IEEE Senior Member (ID: 99320117) and an IBM Certified Cybersecurity Analyst. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, where he also completed his M.E. (CSE) and B.Tech (IT) degrees. He has more than 18 years of teaching and industrial experience. Dr. Kannimuthu is a recognized Ph.D. supervisor at Anna University, Chennai. Under his guidance, eight Ph.D. candidates have successfully completed their research, and he is currently supervising nine Ph.D. research scholars. He has published over 80 research articles (SCI: 30, Scopus: 53) in various international journals. Additionally, he has authored two books—Artificial Intelligence and LinkedList Demystified: A Placement Perspective—and contributed five Scopus-indexed book chapters. He acting as Editor for several Reputed Journals and Book Series.
He serves as a mentor and consultant for DeepLearning.AI, MaxByte Technologies, Dhanvi Info Tech, and Hubino. He is also an expert member of the AICTE Student Learning Assessment Project (ASLAP). Dr. Kannimuthu has presented numerous papers at national and international conferences. He has visited more than 100 engineering colleges and delivered over 200 guest lectures on various topics. He serves as a reviewer for more than 100 journals and four books. He has successfully completed a consultancy project through the Industry–Institute Interaction Cell for ZF Wind Power Antwerpen Ltd., Belgium. He has also received funding from CSIR, DRDO, and ISRO to conduct workshops and seminars. He has completed more than 610 Certifications (41 Specializations and 4 Professional Certifications) in Coursera, Hackerrank and NPTEL on various domains. He has guided numerous research-oriented as well as application-oriented projects organized by reputed companies such as IBM. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence, Data Structures and Algorithms, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Big Data Analytics, Blockchain, and Virtual Reality.
